kiss the sky…

Less than halfway up the hazardous zig-zag passage through the Sierra Madre Mountain range located in between Laguna and Quezon Provinces on the eastern side of the Philippines, a welcomed rest stop for weary travelers…

…laundry service is extra!

After the briefest of pauses, the trip was continued and we came to more and more curves in the roadway; there was no point in satisfying our curiosity as to what was on the other side of the low guard rails along the side of the mountain road…

Besides, there was always the reminder that this was a two lane roadway with oncoming traffic consisting of travelers who were used to this sort of thing. So we mostly didn’t try to overtake anyone ahead of us, just in case someone wanted to make a sudden left turn…

Speed limit? You decide – at your own risk…

Breathtaking views, yes, but touching the sky is just not my thing, especially while traveling on this kind of road…

Until next time!
